CLIC Academy

CLIC Academy is a faith-based performing arts program designed to help minority youth develop social-emotional skills through acting and improv. In our sessions, youth reenact biblical and historical scenes with a modern twist, engaging in open forum discussions that connect these narratives to real-life challenges. Topics such as teen pregnancy and other uncomfortable truths are explored to foster a deeper connection with their characters and themselves.

Why CLIC Academy?

The focus of CLIC Academy is on Youth Media projects. We aim to empower minority youth with positive content, inspiring them to overcome social-emotional obstacles through media. Our program teaches participants self-regulation strategies and storytelling skills, helping them communicate effectively while broadening their horizons in film and theatre.
